Since September 2014, the Foundation has provided core funding for the Mohammad H. Mohseni Chair in Men’s Health, Integrity and Well-Being at Vancouver General Hospital. Mr. Mohseni was named Chair in 2017; Dr. David Kuhl has led the creation of The Men’s Initiative, now rebranded as “Blueprint”.  Blueprint’s long-term purpose is to improve the health and well-being of men everywhere by developing and delivering academically and clinically validated programs and tools that shift the dialogue and equip men to live better lives for the benefit of themselves, their families, communities, and the world.

Six scholarly journals were published through the funding of a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Iranian Studies under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief Dr. Mohamad Tavakoli.

From 2012 – 2015, the Foundation funded a three-year Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in Men’s Health Research at UBC/VGH at the internationally acclaimed Vancouver Prostate Centre associated with UBC and Vancouver General Hospital.

The Foundation developed a relationship with a facility in North Vancouver that provides a social center for the Iranian community. Founded by Dr. Mehrangiz Khorshidi, an Iranian psychologist, the Society is now led by Ms. Parvin (Zahra) Rabii and a board of directors.  The Foundation led the restoration of the Society’s legal status and financial security.  Plans are now being explored for the possible expansion of the Society and its programs.

The Foundation has committed to providing funding for 5 years (2019 – 2024) to the BC Children’s Hospital for research, training, and education for the development of treatment for juvenile urological disease.

From 2012 to 2015, the Foundation funded two initiatives at Vancouver General Hospital: a three-year post doctoral Fellowship in men’s health research and the Mohseni Fellowship in Glaucoma research.

From 2015 – 2018, the Foundation provided funding to the University of Toronto, Department of Near and Middle Eastern Studies for a three-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship (and support of the Diyar publication) in Iranian Studies.

Founded and led by Mrs. Nassreen Filsoof, CIF promotes social equity and human welfare and improves the collective wellbeing of members of this community. Since 2017, the Foundation has supported CIF in its mission to help Iranian communities across Vancouver.
